the journey OneThirst ~ What

In OneThirst we desire to bring the word of God to life through active worship, teaching, and playing. OneThirst is a place where kids can be discipled and learn how to take the exciting truths they are learning to their schools and to their friends. Our goal is to equip children with the knowledge of who God is and the love that He has for us as humans so that they would be able to effectively reach out to the people of their generation.

Our worship is action packed using motions to help the kids remember what they are singing. We desire for the kids to not only be excited for singing the songs but to truly believe what they are singing. For the teaching section of OneThirst we desire to bring a short message to the kids and then break into small groups.

By allowing the children to interact in small groups, true discipleship can take place. By doing this we can hear what the kids are understanding of what is being read and can answer questions that arise. Every game that we play in OneThirst can be applied to the truth found in the Bible. We use high energy games such as tag or relays to bring the truth learned, or that will be learned, in the lesson to life simply by changing the rules or adding things to the game.

All of this together makes for a great time and great learning!
