At the Underground, we believe that God intended for us to have fun while we learn about and serve Him. Whether we are serving up dinner at a homeless shelter, going out to catch a movie, playing board games or sardines at the church, swinging in the park, or serving up some grub for a fundraiser we have lots of fun at The Underground serving our Creator!
Relevant teaching is experienced on Sunday afternoons during the regular service that occurs at The Journey, as well as Wednesday Nights. Sunday Nights we experience a time of fellowship and fun, doing something different each Sunday of the month to keep it fresh.
Believing there is something special about taking a student outside of their usual environment and placing them in an atmosphere outside of the norm, we consider Underground Encounter Weekends vital to the spiritual development of each student at the Underground. Each student is given several opportunities to experience God in a different way, whether it is through one of our spring or fall retreats or, the annual favorite of the group, the National Youth Conference, each student will be brought closer in their walk through one of these weekends.
